Geoff Golick - Men's Soccer / Marissa Lathrop- Women's Cross Country

Junior Marissa Lathrop from the women's cross-country team and senior Geoff Golick from the men’s soccer team are the November 2017 Mighty Oaks Student-Athletes of the Month. 

Marissa finished fifth overall in the USCAA National Championships, earning her first-team All-American honors. Her top five finish helped the Mighty Oaks to a second place overall finish.  Marissa also finished in first place overall at the HVIAC Conference Championship race. 

Geoff was a team captain and a key component of the men’s soccer team’s success this season. He wasn’t the team’s leading goal scorer but his hard work and playmaking ability helped the Mighty Oaks to an undefeated record in HVIAC conference play and another invitation to the USCAA National Tournament. He ended his senior season with four goals and five assists and also received a USCAA All-American Honorable Mention.
