Golf Team Wins ESF Invitational

Favorable weather conditions played to the ESF golf team's advantage as it won the ESF Invitational Oct. 5 at the Links at Erie Village.

The event, originally planned for early September, had been rescheduled because of inclement weather. Syracuse University's Matt Blanco won individual honors with a score of 83.

Senior Nick Reddick lead the Mighty Oaks with a score of 84. Tucker Smith finished third with a score of 85. TJ Rimmer (89) and Alex Brown (91) finished fifth and sixth.

The team looks to carry its success into the season's final event, the USCAA National Championships held Oct. 12-14 at the Penn State blue course in State College, PA.
