Golf Team Wins ESF Invitational

The seventh annual ESF Invitational was held Sept. 18 at the Links at Erie Village. This year's invitational featured Cortland State, Penn State Wilkes-Barre and three ESF teams.

Sophomore Will Hoffman came in first place for the Mighty Oaks with an overall score of 75. Hoffman scored 40 on the first nine and a tournament-best 35 on the back nine. Coming in second was junior Sean Barron with an overall score of 75.

Tied for third was senior Brian Walsh with a score of 81. Walsh tied with Cortland State's JP Maher.

The Mighty Oaks hope to continue their success at the Oswego Invitational Sept. 19.
