Bio

Dan Ramin is the Coordinator of Athletics at ESF and Head Coach of the Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs. He is the first Coordinator of Athletics and helped guide all the athletic programs into varsity status, first within the NAIA and now currently within the USCAA.

Coach Ramin is from Baldwinsville New York. He was a standout All County player who went on to play at Finger Lakes Community College and graduate from University at Buffalo. He holds degrees in Fine Arts and Anthropology with a specialization in Archeology. Coach Ramin's family owns and operates the CNY Family Sports Centre in Baldwinsville, one of the premier Central New York indoor, outdoor soccer facilities.
Coach Ramin received his USSF Coaching certificate at Lemoyne College in 2002 and his NSCAA National Diploma at Stanford University in 2010. He is a former men’s coach at Cayuga Community College and Cazenovia College. He is a member of the New York State West Olympic Development coaching staff and an assistant coach for Syracuse FC of the NPSL. Coach Ramin won the USCAA Women's Soccer National Coach of the Year Award in 2014. He also was the 2015 recipient of the HVIAC Conference honors of Women's Coach of the Year and Men's Co-coach of the Year.
In 2016, coach Ramin was named the HVIAC Coach of the Year in both men's and women's soccer after leading each team to an HVIAC conference title.  
Coach Ramin resides in Lafaytte with his wife Lori, a metalsmith professor at Syracuse University.
