Men’s Cross Country Team Place Second at SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational
The Mighty Oaks men's cross country team finished second overall at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invite held on Aug. 31.
Freshman Matthew Tripp led ESF with a second place finish overall with a time of 19:37 in the 6K race. Tripp, a local product from Fayetteville-Manlius High School, was one of the top high school runners in New York State last year.
Junior Mark McClenahan finished 13th overall with a time 20:47 while another freshman, Simon Seidl, placed 17th overall with a time of 21:08.
The team is back in action Sept. 21 at the Roberts Wesleyan Invite.
