Women's Soccer Open Season 3-0

The women's soccer team started the 2019 season off with two straight wins. The Mighty Oaks face University of Pittsburgh - Bradford and came away with a 3-0 win. ESF followed up the win with a 6-0 shutout win over Finger Lakes Community College. Senior Alyssa Hughes scored two goals for ESF while senior Marissa Pompeii had a goal and an assist.

"We kept our composure and worked in unison as we maneuvered the ball around the field to get six goals in the back of the net." said junior Claire Maring.

The women's team defeated rival Onondaga Community College 8-0, Sept. 4 in the annual Queen of the Hill Cup. The Mighty Oaks have won the cup going on five years in a row. 

The team opens up HVIAC play on the road Sept. 7 at Five Towns College.
