Bio

As the sports information director, Joel is responsible for the athletics website design and content, social media management, media outreach, game and event recaps, photography, print materials, game day support and other tasks as necessary.  

In addition to his role as the Mighty Oaks SID, Joel is a graphic and web Designer in the Office of Communications and Marketing at ESF. 

Joel graduated with a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York where he was also a member of the varsity soccer and basketball teams.  He also studied abroad at Bond University (Gold Coast, Australia) and Universidad Veritas (San Jose, Costa Rica).  Joel resides on the east side of Syracuse with his wife Aura and their three children, Carlos, Catalina and Victoria.
