Bio

John D'Antonio was appointed the head coach of the Mighty Oaks basketball team in 2018.

For five years before, D'Antonio coached varsity basketball at Groton High School. While at Groton, he helped build the program making it as high as number nine in Class C state rankings in during the 2016-17 season.

During the summers he volunteers at several local collegiate and high school basketball camps and attends a variety of coaching clinics.

D'Antonio received his bachelors in elementary education and masters in environmental education, both from SUNY Cortland. He was a part of the Cortland men's basketball program from 1995-97 where they were the first team in school's history to reach the Division III NCAA tournament.

D'Antonio resides with his wife and daughter in Preble, New York.
