ESF Golf Invitational Recap
The ESF Players Invitational was contested on Saturday, September 9th at the Links at Erie Village. This event was created in 2017 to honor the continued growth and strengthening of the ESF squad. As the kick-off event to the new season, this intrasquad tournament helps promote comradery and a competitive atmosphere to aid in moving the team forward.
It was a slow start for the ESF squad as rain began shortly after teeing off. The rain subsided and the players used the soft conditions to their scoring advantage.
Junior, Sustainable Energy Management Major, Evan Como, took this year's title with an 80!
This coming weekend is the team's annual fundraiser event on Sunday, September 17th at the Links at Erie Village. The Mighty Oaks will be back in action on Monday, September 25 when they travel to Teugega Country Club for the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Invitational.
