Woodsmen Team Hosts East Coast Lumberjack Roundup in Tully

On October 29th, the ESF Woodsmen team hosted the East Coast Lumberjack Roundup in Tully, NY. This was the team's 17th year hosting their home competition. 25 teams competed from 9 different schools, traveling from across the state, as well as Connecticut and Vermont. 

ESF represented with 4 competing teams, including Women's, Jack and Jill (co-ed), Men's 1, and Men's 2. On the women's team, the ladies placed 1st in many events including log roll, pack board race, super suede (one man saw), cookie stack, stock saw, fire build, and doubles crosscut. Overall they placed 2nd in the women's division. The Jack and Jill team competed in a large field of teams, and placed 1st in pulp toss, log roll, pack board race, single buck saw, and fire build. This put them in 3rd place within their division.

Both of the men's teams made strong showings as well. The men's 1 team came in 1st place for pulp toss, stock saw, and fire build which put them in 3rd place overall in the division.
