Women's Soccer Fall to Albany Pharmacy

The women's soccer team faced conference rivals Albany College of Pharmacy on Sept. 17. The Panthers defeated ESF three times last season- once during the regular season, again during the HVIAC conference championships and, finally, in the semifinals of the USCAA championships. Panthers sophomore Katie Benson's lone goal at the 53rd minute turned out to be the game winner as the Panthers defeated ESF 1-0. Benson has turned into an acorn crusher as her lone goal at last year's USCAA championships ended the Mighty Oaks 2015 season. The Mighty Oaks had several scoring opportunities throughout the match and outshot the Panthers 30-22.

The women fall to 2-1-1 overall, 0-1 in conference play. The team will face HVIAC opponent King's College Sept. 24 in New York City.
