Huskies Win HVIAC Clash

Tully, NY – The Huskies opened up HVIAC play on the road against SUNY ESF Mighty Oaks in a game in which the Huskies suffered a tough defeat last season. In last year's game, a late goal for the Mighty Oaks put them up 2-1 with under 3 minutes to go and took the win against the Huskies. This year, the Huskies looked to change that. In the first half, Alexi Marshall was able to net his 2nd goal of the season in the 11th Minute of the game to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. Calem Mason also recorded his 4th assist on the goal. The Huskies were able to make it 2-0 before halftime thanks to another goal scored by Joseph Mathews in the 40th Minute of the game, Mathews netted his 6th goal this season and is in great form. William Randall also made a couple of great saves and earned his 3rd clean sheet in a row to start the season as the Huskies earned the 2-0 victory over the Mighty Oaks.

The Huskies' next game is Wednesday, September 20th at 3 p.m. against Berkeley College (NJ) at the Huskies Soccer Complex.
