The Mighty Oaks Men's Basketball team had a pair of tough games over the weekend in the Route 20 Classic.
Facing SUNY Morrisville on Friday, the team fell 81-59. Junior Christian Rossi's 20 points in the game weren't quite enough to bring home a Mighty Oak victory.
On Sunday, the Mighty Oaks took on Cazenovia College in the second part of the Route 20 Classic. Sophomore Reid Patchett scored 19 points against the Wildcats and junior Michael Samuel landed 15 points keeping the game to a close 72-63.
"The team played hard in both games," said Coach John D'Antonio. "Even though there were two losses, we showed great improvement in both games. The guys are excited to keep improving to get some wins as the season moves on."
