The Mighty Oaks Men's Basketball team completed a statement conference win over Vaughn College in Queens on Dec. 12.
The final score was 95-45. Some new faces found their way on the score sheet this week. John DePalma had 10 points and five steals off the bench, a career-high for him. While Nate Recor had 10 points which was also another career-high game. Hunter Waldmen joined the fun and had himself a career game with 17 points and four assists.
Sophomore Reid Patchett continued his top form from the last game by finishing with 15 points and nine rebounds.
"This was a great win to start conference play. We've put in a lot of work this semester and it started to really show in a full-team win today with all 10 players scoring," said Head Coach John D'Antonio.
The Mighty Oaks will take a well-deserved winter break and resume action on Jan. 11 at Broome Community College.
