Exciting Senior Day for the Mighty Oaks

The Mighty Oaks men's soccer team faced off against the Five Towns Sound this past Saturday.  Not only was this an important in-conference game, but the stakes were also raised by ESF's No. 2 national ranking and Five Town's No. 3 national ranking. Adding to the excitement on the pitch, it was also Senior Day for the Mighty Oaks. The honored seniors were Luke Peterson, Cooper Weinman, Luke Fischer, Ben Uetz, John Sanders, Liam Hanley, Jack Phillips and Owen Henkler. 

The men came out hot with a goal two minutes into the game by senior Liam Hanley. The early lead was answered by one goal before halftime and another in the second half.  A hard-fought game by the Oaks would see the final whistle blown with the score of 2-1 in favor of Five Towns. The Oaks head down to New York City this Sunday for another conference game against Vaughn College.
