Mighty Oaks Breaking Records at Mike Woods Invitational

The Mighty Oaks cross country teams competed in The Mike Woods Invite hosted by SUNY Geneseo. More than 30 schools from Ohio, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Michigan and New York competed. 

The men's team finished 17 out of 33 teams. Senior Matt Frame placed 33rd out of 404 runners. His time of 25:53 is the second-fastest 8K time in ESF history. Only three ESF runners have broken 26 minutes in an 8K, Frame now joins that elite group of runners.  Eight runners broke 30 minutes which is also an ESF school record.

"We beat some really good teams! I am very proud of the guys," said Mike Melfi, ESF cross country coach.
