The women's soccer team opened their first home game for the season on Sept. 17 with a big win over SUNY Polytechnic Institute. The Mighty Oaks finished 5-1 against the Wildcats. The team came out with high intensity and never looked back. The Oaks outshot the Wildcats 10 to 4 and controlled much of possession.
Jessica Bolton scored 2 goals. Kelly Cooper and Linda Arterburn each had a goal and an assist.
The team looks to continue their 3 - 0 win on Sept. 21 where they play the kangaroos at SUNY Canton.
