Women's Soccer goes 2-0 in their weekend double header on the road


The might oaks women headed down to New Jersey this Saturday to takes on Kings College coming out on top with a 12-0 win. The mighty oaks powerhouse came out strong with 8 goals in the first half, the Oaks continued to dominate the game adding on 4 goals in the second half. Mackenzie Koniszewski. started the show with a goal in the first 2 minutes of the game assisted by Jessica Bolton. Bolton led the team with 4 goals closely followed by hat trick from Abby Thomas. Koniszewski had two goals during the match, Abby Neil, Ryan Hesch and Malayna Shiels each tacked a goal on for the Oaks.  Assists came from Hesch, Koniszewski, Canipe, Champagne and Bolten for the Oaks.
Sunday the mighty Oaks went on to play Five Towns College on Long Island. The might oaks came out on top with a 4-0 win over the Sound. Two goals were scored in the first half by Ryan Hesch assisted by Mackenzie Koniszewski and Abby Thomas assisted by Kimora Brown. Sophia Champagne found the back of the net in second half unassisted. Jenna Canipe added another for the Oaks assisted by Scarlet Carrera. Ana Lebron and Julia Smith both had great games. Overall, the mighty oaks played great and are coming home with two conference wins on the weekend.
