The Mighty Oaks traveled to SUNY Delhi over the weekend. In the first half the Oaks showed promise with bursts of intermittent domination of the game. The defensive line led by Olivia Dombek showed no signs of letting up through the game. However, the team wasn't able to connect the pieces to find the back of the net. Missing a few key starters due to injury through off our system and attacking style. Going into the second half the Oaks and Broncos were tied 0-0. The Oaks outshot the Broncos 13-7, but they weren't able to put any away. In the 89th minute of the game the Broncos scored. The Oaks fought hard through the 90 minutes but left with a 1-0 loss. Overall, the Oaks dominated the majority of the game but came up short in the attacking third.
