Mighty Oaks Compete at Mike Woods Invitational

Mighty Oaks women's cross country team competed at 40^th-annual Mike Woods Invitational, hosted by SUNY Geneseo at the Geneseo Warplane Museum in Geneseo, N.Y.

The women's team placed 18th out of 29 scoring teams. In just her second collegiate 6K race, first-year Bryce Hopper finished 38th out of 321 runners. Her time of 23:43 is the fifth-fastest in ESF history and third fastest for a first-year in ESF history.

"The women showed a lot of grit out there and some came away with personal bests," said Melfi. "Bryce is an incredible raw talent who has a lot of potential to be a special runner for us!"
