Cross Country in Action at The Hamilton Tune Up
The men and women cross country teams traveled to Hamilton College on Saturday, October 21 on a wet, cold, and windy day. The ESF women finished 2nd in the team standings while the men were 3rd. The meet was a tune-up for upcoming championships. The men raced a 5k and the women's distance was a 4k. Leading the way for the Mighty Oaks were both Sean Dristle and Savannah Kuhr (15:15, 4k). "We ran some good times today in tough conditions. For some, this was their last race of the season. I am proud of the efforts they put in all season." Coach Melfi said.
Next up for the Mighty Oaks will be a trip to Pittsburgh (November 12th) where they will try to "3 peat" USCAA National Championships for both the men and women.
